About GFC
GFC was developed to offer chemists an alternative
to the traditional Flash Chromatography.
The technology behind GFC was developed by Supercritical Fluid Technologies, Inc. (SFT) and later transferred to G-Flash, LLC., and many of the key people at G-Flash, LLC are key people at SFT as well.
G-Flash Management Team
Kenneth James, Ph.D.
President and Director of Technology
Kenneth received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware in 1984 and completed his Ph.D. under Professor Thomas B. Brill at the University of Delaware in 1998. His concentration was in Organic Chemistry and Analytical Spectroscopy. He developed new spectroscopic methods to investigate the decomposition mechanisms of energetic materials using T-Jump/FT-IR, Pyrolysis/FT-IR, Mass Spectroscopy, and Raman Spectroscopy. The T-Jump/FT-IR Cell was commercialized by CDS Instruments of Oxford, PA, as the “Brill Cell” for Pyrolysis/FT-IR.
Kenneth founded Supercritical Fluid Technologies (SFT) in 1994 and G-Flash, LLC in 2022. He is the author of several key patents related to the Green Flash Chromatography (GFC) covering the key developments of this new technology. He has now taken the challenge to lead all technical development efforts for G-Flash, LLC to support commercial goals for new GFC technology.
Kenneth Krewson

He established SFT’s network of manufacturer representatives and international distributors. Additionally, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s marketing plan.
Ken graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Chemistry in 1984, and in 1986, he earned his MBA from the College of William and Mary. During his career in the scientific and analytical instrumentation industry, he has worked for ABB Bomen, Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Thermo-Nicolet Corp, and Mettler-Toledo, Inc. His past duties included technical sales, service, product management and business development. Mr. Krewson is a founding partner in both SFT and G-Flash.
